Common query letter mistakes
1.) Including a sample of the book in the letter. This is not the way to go because you are already providing a sample of the book separately.
2.) Having irrelevant or bad comparable titles.
3.) Making huge claims about your book and yourself. It is okay to be confident but do it tastefully.
Your query letter should be short and sweet.
