5 tips for writing a book synopsis:
1.) Write in present tense and write in third person.
2.) Focus on the main character(s) of your story.
3.) Hit the major plot points in your synopsis. View it as a reverse outline of your book.
4.) Reveal the ending.
5.) Keep it short, between 500-1,000 words, especially if the agent doesn’t tell you how many words are required.
