Tough love when it comes to writing

.) Remind yourself success is not always immediately going to happen. Meaning effort, editing, and consistency is important! Everyone has to edit and put in the work to achieve what is possible.

.) Your book is not your baby. You have to develop this muscle of being resilient. That way if someone does try to even give you constructive criticism, it will not hurt your feelings. It will only make you stronger and help your process if you let it motivate you in a positive way.

.) You have to be able to make these tough decisions. You have to be ruthless about making your book better. Editing and polishing will pay off in the long run. It requires you to focus and get it done.

.) Let someone read the first draft. Please get used to others reading your work. Do not be afraid because as soon as you do this, it will help your writing process. They can give you an outside view point and it can be extremely beneficial to your book. Whether the feedback is negative or middle ground, it is the key to success for editing and book writing.
